I get tired
I'm tired of living in the same loop, everyday repeats it self
Again, again, and again
Time is flying too fast
I feel brainwashed to live in the same loop
As if they want me to keep sleeping.
I want to accomplish Astronomical things
To be proud of myself I'd say
I want to make something beautiful
Art
Colors, pastel, brown and green.
A Green
The dark green from tall long trees
Smelling it brings peace to
The soul.
Earth is so beautiful and humans
Are the worst thing to happen
In existence.
Our planet is dying but no one-
seems to care
It's too late now.
We have jumped into a loop
Time is lost
Climate change can't be predicted.
It's too late.
I'm tired now.
The structure I wrote the poem was to let all my emotions tell what the life of a teenager living in the same loop feels. I applied the tone of changing subjects to make the reader connect with the mind of a teenager thinking of everything in their mind. Growing up makes you think of a lot of things, nothing makes sense, and I wrote this to express it. The process of writing this was very uncensored and pleasant to convey what I identify and the topics that I give strength to.
This poem described the life of a teenager and how our days feel endless when we are stuck in the same loop, almost like the movie Groundhog Day. It also talks about the problems that we have to go through with the world (i.e climate change) and why we have our reasons for being tired. This is a great poem to reflect on.

I relate a little too closely to this poem because as we begin to grow older I feel we are more aware to the time we have in this life. When we were young we all held big dreams and aspirations in our hearts, but then were soon crushed by the reality of this world we live in. It isn't easy to reach the dreams we once had. I also love the mentioning of how our planet is dying because it's true. What does dreams matter anyway if our planet is dying. Loved this piece.
