Jixi Castro Sanabria

I am Jixi Castro. I have 3 wonderful brothers and sisters. I am a teenage mom with two kiddo’s, one boy and one girl, and they are so amazing. My mom is a very strong woman and it was from her and from my children that I learned and helped me achieve what I want in life and move forward despite the circumstances. I chose this book because it talks about love and what can be achieved by giving what one has in life and helping the people that one loves the most. It also talks about two young people who will be deported to their native country with their families in 12 hours but they fall in love. The boy wants to be a poet but it’s very difficult for him because he has to do things that his family likes, because sometimes we want to do what makes our family happy despite what we actually feel and desire. The girl is different from why she wants to help her family so that she is not deported and continues to live here in the country. She always wants to have her family together, which is something difficult but not something impossible. What I like about this book is that sometimes we go through very difficult circumstances but we have someone who supports us. It is like an impossible love, a love that only lasts for a while, an illusion, but it is a love that helps you in the moment you need it.
