Entranced,
Is all I am when I see you across the room.
And I know you'll never feel the same way.
Why?
Who knows?
That’s just how life is.
You just have to accept that sometimes,
All you can do is be,
Entranced.
What inspired me to write this poem was a feeling we all have gone through, liking someone who does not feel the same way. All you can do is admire them from afar, accept the truth, and eventually move on with our lives.
I really like how your poem was short but at the same time very meaningful. We’re barely at the age of maturity and we don't quite understand our feelings enough to be “in love” and we have to accept that it’s just the way things are.

I love this. I love how your poem wasn't very lengthy ,it makes certain things stand out; such as the phrase "And I know you'll never feel the same way", it's a feeling that many of us feel connected to.
