Description:
Erect perennial shrubs, up to 1 m tall; branchlets glandular-pubescent. Leaves lanceolate, base cuneate, decurrent and with 2 glands, margins irregularly crenate-serrate, apex acute to acuminate, more or less hairy on both sides. Flowers 3.5-4 cm across, axillary, solitary, homostylous. Calyx densely appressed pubescent; tube funnel-shaped; lobes 7-10 mm long, lanceolate. Petals yellow, obovate, apex truncate. Capsule 6-8 mm long, ovoid, hairy, 3-valved; seeds many.
