Description:
Erect monoecious shrubs, 1-2 cm high; leafy branches seemingly clustered towards tip of branches. Leaves simple, alternate, triangular-lanceolate, glaucous beneath. Flowers axillary, solitary to clustered. Perianth 1-seriate, 6-lobed. Stamens 3, filaments connate to a column. Capsules globose, 1-1.5 cm diam. with persistent stylar portion at tip.
