Description: 

Climbers, reaching to 10 m high; rooting at nodes. Leaves 20-40 x 5-12 cm, oblong, base subcordate, apex acute to acuminate, deep green leaves are shiny on the upper surface but often exhibit a copper coloration on the underside, subsucculent; lateral nerves 5-7 pairs; petiole to 15 cm long, terete; cataphylls 5-7 cm long, recurved.
