Description:
Shrubs, to 2 m tall, sap watery. Leaves in whorls of 3-5, subsessile, elliptic or narrowly obovate, acute to acuminate at apex, minutely hispid along veins. Flowers in terminal or axillary short-peduncled cymes. Corolla yellow with orange-red streaks, tube rather narrowly funnel-form, ca. 3 cm, distinctly swollen at base; lobes ovate or orbicular, ca. 2 cm, obtuse. Stamens included, anthers sagittate. Capsules globose, ca. 3 cm in diam., long spiny.
