Description: 

Small armed shrubs-trees. Leaves alternate, 1-foliolate; leaflets ovate-lanceolate, apex obtuse, coriaceous, crenate, petiole winged. Flowers white, axillary, in clusters, cymes or solitary. Petals 4-8, oblong, glandular. Stamens 20 or more, filaments unequal. Berry globose, fleshy, rind leathery.
