Description:
Trees, to 10 m high. Leaves simple, alternate, elliptic, oblong-obovate. Flowers yellowish-green, solitary, axillary or from mature branches. Sepals 3, triangular. Petals 6 (3+3) ovate-acute, yellow. Stamens many. Fruit ovoid to obovoid, covered with curved spines.
