Description:
Large shrubs. Leaves simple, alternate, entire or shallowly lobed, ovate, acute or acuminate. Flowers pink to rose, solitary, axillary, pendulous. Corolla, 17-25 cm long, tube long and slender, limb strongly plicate in bud, lobes 5, cuspidate or acuminate. Stamens 5, inserted on distal part of corolla tube; anthers linear, basifixed, 25-35 mm long. Fruit a 4-valved, indehiscent capsule; seeds numerous.
