Description: 

Trees, 10-15 m high. Leaves bi-pinnate, alternate; pinnae 8-20 pairs, opposite; leaflets18-50, sessile, opposite. Flowers bisexual, crimson, in terminal or lateral corymbose panicles. Petals 5, orbicular, claws yellow, upper petal white streaked with red and yellow. Stamens 10, free. Pod ca. 40 cm long, flat, woody.
