Description:
Diffuse herbs rooting at lower nodes. Leaves simple, opposite, ovate, margins serrate. Heads rayed, axillary, usually solitary, yellow; peduncle 3-8 cm long. Ray florets 8-12, female, ligulate. Disc florets many, bisexual; pappus of 2 unequal bristles; achenes c. 2 x 0.5 mm, oblong, truncate at apex.
