Description: 

Large shrubs to small trees; aerial slender roots few or abundant. Leaves simple, alternate or subopposite; triangular to obovate, green or green with yellow blotches; midrib forked just below the apex, purplish, lateral nerves slender, faint. Figs axillary, 10-20 mm in diameter, glabrous, globose or pear-shaped, becoming pink or bright red when ripe.
