Description:
Erect hirsute herbs, 15-40 cm tall. Leaves simple, opposite, linear-lanceolate, apex acute, base cuneate, margin distantly serrate. Inflorescence terminal and axillary. Calyx 6 mm long, tubular, 10-ribbed. Corolla white, outside hairy above, inside middle annulate with oblique and discontinuous ring of fleshy hairs. Stamens included in the upper lip, upper pair shorter than the lower, filaments hairy. Nutlets 2.5 x 1 mm, dark brownish, glabrous shining.
