Description:
Large shrubs. Leaves simple, opposite, oblong-elliptic to obovate, shortly acuminate at apex, base cuneate, unequal sided. Flowers solitary, axillary. Calyx 5-7 mm long, faintly 5-angled, unequally lobed. Corolla white at first, changes to yellow and orange-yellow; lobes 6-9, broadly obtuse or acute. Stamens as many as the corolla lobes, emerging, slightly from the corolla mouth.
