Description:
Annual succulent herbs; roots fibrous; stems prostrate to suberect. Leaves opposite, obovate, spatulate, or lanceolate, flattened, apex rounded to truncate, sessile; involucral leaves 4 or 5. Flowers solitary, terminal, 1-2 cm diam. Sepals 3-4 mm long. Petals yellow or yellow tipped with red or copper.
