Description:
Evergreen perennial, clump forming trailing herbs; stems to 40 cm high. Leaves alternate, elliptic with squarish dark green patches and triangular notches arranged along the rachis. New leaves appear from the sheathed leaf-stalk. The leaves lying flat during the day and folding in an erect position at night. Flowers white with purple spots.
