Problem Solved: keeping Threes secure, accessing video of space remotely (on our phones and laptops), downloading videos and sharing them with others
To download videos from events office desktops:
Plug in USB into the front top right corner of the computers
Click on folder symbol (file management)
Click all files
Enter the date and time that you want to record and click search
Click Select All
Choose Video and Text
Click Export
Select mp4
Select the USB from the dropdown menu
Save
To Set Up Access on Your Laptop
Go to 1800dvr.com
Click support
Choose IVMS
On the software tab, click on IVMS 4200
Click on mac
Download software onto your laptop
Open the software
Username: threes1234
Password: threes4567$
Click on Device Management
You will add two devices; one for the inside cameras and one for the outside cameras
Click on Add (with the green plus sign)
A pop up screen will say Add Device. Leave it on IP/Domain.
Nickname: Inside Threes
Address: cdxw14438.newddns.com
Port: 8000
Username: threes1234
Password: threes4567$
Keep Export to Group checked off
Click Add
Click on Add (with the green plus sign) again
Click on Add (with the green plus sign)
A pop up screen will say Add Device. Leave it on IP/Domain.
Nickname: Outside Threes
Address: cdxw14438.newddns.com
Port: 8001
Username: threes1234
Password: threes4567$
Keep Export to Group checked off
Click Add
Viewing Live Footage on Your Laptop
Select Main View at the top to see all of the cameras and views from the cameras
Select what you want to see from the column on the left
To Record a Video on Your Laptop
Select Remote Playback at the top
Select the camera, date and time that you want to view
Click Search (below the calendar on the bottom right)
When you’ve found what you want to record, right click on the video
Click Start Recording
Wait for the video to record
Click Stop Recording
A link of the recording will pop up in the right hand corner of your screen; click on it and it will show up in your downloads on your laptop
You can then send the video from your laptop
To Set Up Access on Your Phone
If you get logged out and it says “incorrect username or password” -- try deleting the app and logging in again
If the app says “not logged in” next to the cloud symbol, ignore this. Don’t enter in information on the HiK-Connect page.
Download the iVMS-4500 app on your phone
Select USA as your country
In the top left-hand corner, select the circle icon with three lines
Select Devices from this drop down
Select the + icon in the top right-hand side
To enter the details for the first DVR:
Select Manual Adding
Alias: Inside Threes
Register Mode: IP/DOMAIN
Address: cdxw14438.newddns.com
Port: 8000
User Name: threes1234
Password: threes4567$
Camera No.: Don’t change this
Click the floppy disc icon (top right)
Click ‘Start Live View’ at bottom of screen
Enter details for 2nd DVR:
Select Manual Adding
Alias: Outside Threes
Register Mode: IP/DOMAIN
Address: cdxw14438.newddns.com
Port: 8001
User Name: threes1234
Password: threes4567$
Camera No.: Don’t change this
Click the floppy disc icon (top right)
Click ‘Start Live View’ at bottom of screen
Viewing Live Footage on Phone
When wanting to look through the cameras, click the icon on the top left -hand corner of the screen
Select Live View
To select the set of cameras to view, click the camera icon on the top right
Select Inside Threes (contains mostly interior cameras) or Outside Threes (contains mostly exterior cameras) by tapping on the circle with a greyed out checkbox in it next to the option you want. Then select ‘Start Live View’. For full list of cameras on each view, see below:

To View a Playback on your phone
Click the circle icon on the top left-hand corner of the screen
Select ‘Remote Playback’
Select the camera icon on the top right corner of the screen
Select the time range you want to see and the camera(s) you’d like to view
Select ‘Start Playback’
View the time period that you want to view. You can zoom, take photos, etc.
To Record a Video on your phone
Click the circle icon on the top left-hand corner of the screen
Select ‘Remote Playback’
Select the camera icon on the top right corner of the screen
Select the time range you want to see and the camera(s) you’d like to view
Press the video camera symbol at the bottom of the screen (the icon second from the left) to start recording
A little R in a red circle will appear at top left of the video
Press the video camera symbol again to stop recording
Click the circle icon on the top left-hand corner of the screen
Select Picture and Video
Select the picture or video that you would like to export
Click the export button at the bottom of the screen (by the trash can symbol)
Click confirm when the pop up window comes up
Select how you would to send your picture or video (text, gmail, etc)
If you get logged out of the camera computers in the office:
Click “admin”

The black flat boxes under the desk on the right wall in the events office. Follow the cords from the screens.
Each has a mouse that you can use with it.
