• For reporting purposes, we had to add Governors Island as its own Location in Shopify

• We will not be selling anything on GI through Shopify

  • NOTE: We can, however, use Shopify POS as a backup in case Square’s systems go down

• The GI Shopify location is purely to have consistency in transfer and inventory operations and reporting across all locations.

• Products get transferred into Shopify on Friday transfers by me (Rob), I will also accept them on behalf of GI.

• Weekly Inventory counts need to be updated in Shopify at EOD on Sundays by the GI MoD

  • Shopify Inventory should match all on-hand package beer and cider on GI:

    • On Fridays immediately after the transfer &

    • On Sundays EOD after MoD updates the Shopify counts

• Very important! Inventory counts of non-Shopify items (wine, water, soda, etc.) should be listed weekly in Sunday’s EOD almanac.

Transfers

• I will be planning the beer transfers to GI, the same way I do with our other locations, but based on target criteria Anna put in place with Lisa and me for GI.

• If you need something to go on a transfer to GI:

  • Add it to the Transfer Request sheet as an ITEM in the Governors Island section for the requisite Friday transfer date

  • Be sure to note where the item is located

  • Similarly, anything coming back from GI should have a destination noted.

• Anna/BillyBob will be responsible for ordering/organizing any non-beer related items for GI and adding to the Transfer Request sheet.
