Phones processes, answering, taking messages, automated attendant, call forwarding, for Verizon and Google voice, text messages, texting, text messaging
In November 2020, we'll be transitioning from Verizon to G-Voice.
We have an account for info@ and huntington@ and ecommerce@ (Passwords are in 1P)
Auto-Attendant (AA): (718) 568-9673 (main public number for sharing and posting)
info@: (718) 218-4527 (for direct calls, this one should be used less often, but good for accounts with vendors and government organizations)
huntington@: (631) 210-6226
ecommerce@: 347-343-2010
The auto attendant (AA) is managed through the admin, but other settings are managed through each Google Voice account.
We'll post the AA number publicly everywhere. We can share the other numbers as appropriate. The AA is very flexible and can forward calls easily to whoever.
As of 11/12/2020, the AA gives hours and location for Gowanus and Greenpoint, and offers the opportunity to talk to Events team or another human
Most of the calls will end up going to info@ Google Voice account and also ringing the burner phone at 718-306-2323.
To answer the phone, you can either log in to the info@ Google Voice account on an iPad, computer, or phone. Or you can use the burner phone.
When you're not receiving calls, you can just log out of the account.
If you answer the call in Google Voice, it's also easy to transfer calls to another phone or Google Voice number.
Voicemail messages will be in the Google Voice app and also go to info@ email account.
We can add more locations to this also, including a link to the Greenpoint or Huntington locations.
We can also send and receive texts from this account, if we ever need to.

There is a Panasonic Range Extender in the kitchen, on the left-hand wall just to the left of the Avantco stand-up fridge. It's plugged in to the outlet behind the refrigerator. It must be plugged in at all times, otherwise the wireless signal will not reach the main bar.
