The story behind my zoom shoe was that I wanted to add a lot of color and patterns. I’ve done a lot of paintings with 1 or 2 of those patterns together but never that much going on. The pink strip was a good thing to put in because it wasn’t as much as if I would have done another pattern.

The materials I used to create this piece was a sharpie, acrylic paint, and paint pens. Sharpie is used for the fine art of the painting, Acrylic paint for the main big sections of color, and paint pens for the glossy thicker lines.

I experimented with this painting by adding more to the painting as I went on. If something didn’t seem right I would add more. My painting evolved by me outlining the rough edges where the paint met to clean them up. My next steps could be adding little details to the drips or even doing something with the pink strip.
