Overwhelmed
Bristol Board
6 in-length x 4 in-height x 3 in-depth
My main idea for this sculpture is to create something with one word, the word I came up with was overwhelmed. I thought someone with their head down and building layers up with that would be a good representation.
The materials I used were bristol paper that I cut into the shape I wanted and just traced the outline and made many of those to build layers. To bond those layers together I used glue and mod podge.
Processes I used were to sketch out the right shape my sculpture took to create a shape I really liked. Also how to give it some depth or some type of look. So for the person, as the layers build up the person gets smaller. I thought it gave the sculpture lots of cool looks.
