Lighting In The Sky

Acyclic Paint
For this project, I had to take one of my sketches and turn it into final artwork. The prompt for my sketch was “Visually show evidence of weather.” Which was prompt 3 so you can see my sketch which was my rough draft for this painting. I really liked how this painting turned out and was something that pushed my comfort.
The materials used were pencils on the canvas to figure out where to put things. Then acrylic paint with a paintbrush to paint on the canvas.
The process of making this had to learn how to paint realistically. How much paint to make it the right color. Lots of experimenting.
