Summer

My main idea for this series of investigations was to demonstrate the four very different seasons in Maine. I took a picture of the sunset on the lake while I was on a boat and I tried to paint it. It was very easy for me to decide to paint the four seasons since I love capturing it and I thought I could do that in my art.

The materials I used were a piece of canvas that I used Posca paint pens to paint on.

I went through lots of practice to get these results. I did tons of experiments to get the right colorful playful feel I want. As seen on the scrap piece of canvas that is above. This painting is exactly what I want for my investigation. The somewhat realistic colorful and playful vibe I really envisioned.
