Maine Junior Duck Stamp

My main idea for this project was to find a certain type of duck and do some research. Then do a realistic drawing of that duck. I chose a snow goose since I really like snow sports.

The materials I used were charcoal for the duck since it was mostly black and white, I used a charcoal colored pencil for the beak, and prisma colored pencils for the background.

The Process I had to go through was researching my duck to get to know the species. Overall I like how my duck came out next time I could have added more detail. Also, the background I did I wasn't too happy with. I think It would have been fine without the black shading I tried to do. With the lack of experience and time with colored pencils, I should have practiced on scrap paper before.
