Post Exhibition Projects
Skier
Leather Keychain
4 cm x 4 cm -- 3 cm x 1 cm
My inspiration was to make a keychain of my skiing for my keys.
The material for this project was a laser-engraved leather shape.
The process I went through was drawing out my design using Illustrator to format my file to be able to use the laser.
Village Mountain
Ink
12 x 14 in
Colored Village Mountain
Ink & Posca Paint Markers
12 x 14 in
My inspiration was to make a print of a skyline and a view of a village from a trail in Big Sky, Montana.
The materials for this project were a linoleum block that I carved my design into, ink for the actual landscape, and posca markers for the one print I added something over.
The process was a lot of transferring my image onto a block and trial and air with that. But after I got around those issues it was a pretty simple process carving out my design.
Sunset Forest
Acrylic
11 x 14 in
Fog Mountain
Acrylic
11 x 14 in
For this project, the inspiration behind these paintings was to watch a Bob Ross tutorial and recreate it to the best of our ability.
The materials used were the primary colors, black, and white acrylic paint which would be mixed to create the various colors needed to complete these paintings. We also used lots of different brushes and pallet knives to create the texture throughout the paintings.
The process was to follow along with the video, mix paint, learn new skills, and how to have the patience to trial and air.
