The story behind the Negative Space Leaves drawing was Halloween is around the corner and thought it would be cool to use Halloween colors and drips are fun to create and to incorporate in anything. My drawing relates to me because I do a lot of painting and one of my most recent paintings I did Halloween colors and I do drips a lot.

The materials I used were paper, a sharpie to outline, colored pencils for the color, and pencils.

I experimented with where I was going to put the drips in the negative space and what colors would go best in the negative space. My project evolved from me adding sharpie to outline the drips and make them pop. My next steps could be to add Halloween doodles all over the negative space.
