Hands

The main idea for this project was to make a form of my hands. Then add or take away from the hand to create something.

I took algenit and put my hands in it so it would make the mold and then took plaster and put it into the mold to make my hands. Once it dries I paint light and dark range of gray and blues in a light to dark range on my hands. Then I took it away from my hand by creating a mountain in one of my hands.

Processes I needed to go through took a while to figure out how to use the form. I put my hands together to create something with the form. I realized I could just scrape out mountains rather than add something and create something out of my hands, like a bouquet of flowers for example.
