The idea behind this project was to paint a wood canvas with an orange base coat and then only use a palette knife to paint something. That something was a photo I took in South Dakota last summer.
The materials were acrylic paint on a wood canvas, the item I used to paint was various angled palette knives.
The process behind my work was how to layer paint and learn new techniques using a non-traditional paintbrush.
