Mapping Design

The idea behind this project was to map out our life in a way. I decided to paint a simple graphic of a mountain based on a photo I took. Overtop of the painting I drew a map of my weekend at Sugarloaf which is a huge part of my life. 

The materials I used were acrylic paint on a piece of canvas paper then overtop I drew the map with my Posca Paint Markers. 

The process behind my work was at first I only used Poscas and I did not like how it got executed so took the time to go back and used acrylic paint for the background. It worked a lot better because I was able to get the exact colors and it turned out way better.
