WhatchamaDRAWit

I had the prompt “Draw an animal that growls like a lion and slithers like a snake.” I like frogs so I thought that would be the perfect animal to base my prompt on, so then I followed the prompt on the frog. The frog was my brother’s favorite animal so we would always look for them.

I sketched the frog out with a pencil, colored it in with colored pencil, and then added the final detail and outline with a black pen.

I used different shades of green, grey, and brown to try and make a replica of what a frog's skin looks like. I took a black pen and made random lines and dots to try and replicate the texture of the frog's skin. My project evolved when I added the black pen marks. What I could do to make my piece better would be to add more to the mouth or add a shadow.
