Sustained Investigation #1

The main idea behind this project was to take this photo I took over the summer and recreate it. This photo to me has so many great memoires that I wanted to show. I made this project by sketching out my key components and filling them in with lots of colors from oil pastels. Blending out the drawing with my finger along the way. Throughout my process, I went back and tried lots of different colors and ways to get the desired blur. Like with my finger, I got the inspiration for this project from a past oil pastel drawing from last year. I wanted to reflect that with new memories.
