Inspired Figure

For this project to take inspiration from her sculpture called “spots”. I took the inspiration of the form and made something similar, an abstract curvy shape. Also, I took a singular glossy plain glaze and used it to glaze my piece.

I made this by taking colis and making a coil pot and using the coils to add made and abstract curvy figure. Then I smoothed everything out. Lastly, I glazed my final product in a glossy plain glaze.

I created this piece to understand that I know how to get inspired by someone’s work. I did a project where I researched her artwork, got inspired and made a work of my own that is similar to her kind of style.
