Sustained Investigation #3

My main idea for my third investigation was to create a landscape painting with lots of colors and minimal texture and detail, like a blurry painting that someone can look at and see different things.

I used acrylic paint which I painted on a canvas, then I used a black and white gel pen to add some detail overtop the painting.

The process I went through was how can I take this photo I really like and correlate it with my main idea. It took lots of layering to evolve my painting skills to create something I really like.
