Sustained Investigation #4

The main idea for my first sustained investigation was to somehow incorporate mountains into this overall mini-investigation. My overall theme is to have a mountain landscape in each of my projects.

I used tin foil and polymer clay for my project. I made my artwork by first taking tin foil and making the base for my sculpture, then adding polymer clay on top of the tin foil to create my scenery of the mountains. Doing this many times to create the layer I want and the depth I envisioned. I also added puffy paint for the trees and bush.

This project took fewer processes than I imagined, and I was able to create my sketch very fast. This concept just stood out to me and it was easy for me to construct the project and make it the way I wanted it to be.
