Christmas 2005-2006
Okay, people, last year you got lucky and didn't hear
From Rochats in Atlanta, but let us be clear These greetings will be brief and not as twice as long So short they will be, you'll break out in song!
For a quick review of two thousand and five A landmark year for Rog who turned sixty five A big bash was held in his honor for sure Friends and family showered him with kudos galore.
On a sad note last May Rog's sister Marilyn passed away A pillar in her community and at home Marilyn's life touched many, her love for others shone
To Vietnam, Rog flew twice in March and in May Evaluating medical school reform, and suffice it to say A new country to visit was quite a treat And the silk carpet addition just can't be beat
In two thousand and six there is much to relate It's been all about babies, two grandchildren to date They are cute and adorable, winsome and smart We can't find any flaws, they are state of the art!
We traveled Down Under for three weeks in June A 40th anniversary celebration, not any too soon 'Coz we're not getting any younger, you can probably tell From the pictures enclosed, but we're doing very well.
To Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Ayers Rock we flew Gracious cousins, stunning vistas, and a few kangaroo
Treated like royalty we'd love to return Some day in the future, when there's money to burn.
This poem has rambled, though I've tried to be brief The last thing we want to do is cause good friends grief So Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all that we love Stay in touch, cherish moments, and thank the good Lord above.
Love, Roger and Susan
