DR. STAN FOSTER Retirement Salutations!
Dottie's Stan, yes he's the man
Always has an action plan
On the move, what e're the reason
Be it in or out of season.
Nothing keeps him home, no ma'am.
He will travel far as he can,
From Bangladesh and Afghanistan
To 40 countries in his life span
With handy vaccine case in hand
That's Dottie's Stan, a travellin' man.
Nothing stops our Dr. Stan,
Nothing stops his caravan
Of vaccinators bent on erasing
Smallpox, deadly and contagious
With an appetite voracious!
He will come home when he can
Dottie's Stan the traveling man,
Check on family, counting his clan
Making sure that when he slumbers
Fosters will rarely be out numbered!!
To Nigeria for five long years,
Are the people shedding tears?
Dr. Stan helped rid them of disease
Battles with smallpox will not cease
Till the last case has been erased!
CDC's disease warriors strong,
History has been made by some,
Dr. Stan is one so strong yet humble
Gives his life with ne'er a mumble,
To the suffering, poor and the needy
About this man there's NOTHING greedy!
