I remember the name George Suter, though little more. I don't think I hitched with him. I believe you two parted (as planned) partway through spring break, and I joined you then in Florence. Two memories are still clear: You told me that when you were traveling around you were working; the trips were part of your education, so you were working at learning. The other was that we two went out of town to Villa something, where we saw an old abandoned castle; we helped each other climb the outer wall, then surmounted another one or two levels, before looking over a wall and seeing someone hanging laundry on a line in a courtyard; we retraced our path to get out as fast as possible.
