Well, having sent you the first chapter of Art and Nathalie's wedding, I'll also forward the rest of the story! Cheers. Roger

first: a really BIG thank you to all who have sent cards and or e mails and or said verbally something re: our anniversary, it has been Great. all three "kids" have been with us through it and our grandson and son-in-law and nephews and nieces have been with us to make it wonderful and folk in Atherton have opened their hearts to make us truly appreciate you all, thank God for you. now back to 1935: since yesterday (our wedding Day) was quite a day we slept late and got up about 9 a.m. finally got out the door,(see last night) and for breakfast went to White Castle-- a hamburger stand where you got hamburgers for 5 cents each and if you bought 5 you got a cup of coffee with them--we each did that. then drove to Hinckley to my folk's place where we spent the week end-- we had a 1928 Chevrolet Coupe (two door) and everything we both owned in this world was with us in that coupe and it wasn't too heavily packed at that. but we were starting out and on our way to our first Church to be Pastor and Wife. Saturday afternoon was spent visiting family and friends in the area and sort of relaxing. well did some shopping cause my dad gave us gift of money for a wedding present (dad didn't go to the ceremony, in fact the only one of the family he attended the wedding was Mable's and she made it so he couldn't do anything else cause she was married in the home and Mom wouldn't let him get away that day) (what memories I have of that day will share some day) and one purchase was a can of paint and a brush to paint our car before we left on the trip to North Dakota. but that happened on Sunday-- so will tell it on Sunday. for the rest of Saturday --'twas just a day of ease so will make it that for you too and sign off now. Love to all me
