RE: North Avenue Presbyterian Church Strategic Plan - Facilities, Critical Issue #8
Thank you for agreeing to meet together on Tuesday, May 9th in the Eldridge Room at 5:30 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to review and improve the Facilities section of the strategic plan for the June 12th Session meeting when we will ask for final approval of the plan. We thought it would be a good use of time for both committees to meet together to discuss the overall strategies and action plans for the next three years. In regards to implementation, the goal is for the shorter- term projects of the Property Committee and the longer- term plans of the Sanctuary Renovation/Master Plan Committee to be complementary, with little overlapping work, thereby, enabling the church to utilize funds as efficiently as possible.
Enclosed is a summary of projects for both committees, prepared by Phill Nall. Also, for the Sanctuary Renovation/Master Plan Committee members, enclosed are copies of the strategic plan and the feedback from the survey regarding facilities. (My understanding is that the Property Committee members already have these last two documents. Let me know if you need one. ) Please review these three documents, and bring your notes to the meeting outlining strategies and action steps you would like to add and/or delete from the strategic plan.
Thank you in advance for helping make this plan more specific regarding the needs of the church facilities as we seek to do God's work. I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
