Dear Folks,
The order of the pictures on the film I am shortly sending home is as follows.
1. Lois & Jim Graber throwing stones into Montana river where we had to stop for road construction.
2. Bozeman: Lois G. & Huntsman girls in front of Huntsman’s house. M.J. will probably identify family. Mrs. G. is crippled with arthritis as you can see with Mr. G. helping her downstairs.
Also shot of Huntsman’s grandparents with G.’s.
3. Makoshika State Park-sandstone cliffs of badlands near Glendive, Montana. Lois & Jim in sunset.

Hi Dorothy, yes I remember we were at the Walla Walla Conference. Roger went with us. he was starting Medical school in Rochester. He helped Dad drive. I remember we left him on the road outside of Glendive Montana he was hitchhiking with a bag of lemons in his hand! Dads brother and family lived in that area.. I was born in Glendive!
[DEW ancestry. Paul Graber German Mennonite. Folks lived in Russia. Paul is buried in Wallula Cemetery]

Sorry I haven’t been writing much; not much to say. Am moderately busy in chem. Problem-where I spend all my spare time!
I trust Marilyn was reinstated all right for her correspondence courses. Will she drive Packard in Clark Fork this winter? I trust it’ll run o.k. although if everything in community is close enough (school, shopping, etc.) she may not need a car. Of course, come to think of it, she’ll need one for meeting.
Mom 1. We never took Milligan’s thermos jug to Rainier as we weren’t able to find it for that trip.
2. I may be impressive, but Mae isn’t. The friendship is highly one-sided and I have no intention of revealing my feeling toward her as long as she feels the way she does toward Dave.
3. In answer to your question about “other” interests, I will shortly send you Eliz. Elliot’s Shadow of the Almighty.
Have so far received $400 in paychecks and find that I only have 1 measly little graph to show for it. I hope I can get more done the remainder of this summer, but taking off on weekends like I do doesn’t help much.
