In honor of upcoming hysterectomy
Gravity, oh Gravity
Sing to tune of Galveston , Oh Galveston
By Susan Rochat on August 5, 2007
Gravity, oh Gravity, I can feel your strong waves pulling
And it’s not a bit fulfilling, to my organs so unwilling
To be sagging and a-dragging
Gravity, oh Gravity, this is not the time for bragging
Have the neighbor’s tongues a-wagging
Spare me from your pulling and a-dragging
Gravity, oh Gravity, the answer to your strong waves pulling
Is soon to surgery I’m a going, for a nipping and a tucking
And your strong waves I’ll be bucking.
Gravity, oh Gravity, let’s call a truce to all this sagging
Then my footsteps won’t be dragging
Neighbor’s tongues will stop a-wagging
And I will cease my nagging!
