Teacher Profile: Mr. Ebbert

In the history hall is where you will most likely see Mr. Ebbert. He teaches academic and honors history for 9th graders. Mr. Ebbert attended Lycoming College. There, he received the Bachelor of Arts: certified in elementary/triad/special education.
“Why teach high school?”
“It’s a nice age group,” Mr. Ebbert responded.
“What motivated you to become a teacher?”“I initially wanted to coach football,” quoted Mr. Ebbert.
Since Mr. Ebbert’s father and brother taught history, he wanted to teach it too. He also enjoys history.
“What made you want to teach at Lehighton?”
“It’s where I grew up,” Mr. Ebbert stated.
“What is the funniest moment that you had while teaching?”
“A student of mine passed out in the middle of class,” he chuckled.
