The process behind the Ugly Jugs

The Ugly Jugs are taking shape. The students in Mr. Reenock’s Ceramics class all started with a simple block of clay, and are working on building them up into a pot shape; which later forms the shape of a jug. To start, the students mold the clay into the shape of a basic jug; the size and color is entirely up to them. After they have their jug just the way they want it, it’s time to make the face. They take extra clay and slowly add it on, and they begin molding as they go to create their desired look. Some students are coming close to having a final product and others have already completed a jug. I can’t wait to see all the final products!
