My Trip to Canada

Over the summer, my mom and I traveled around five hours to Canada. We visited wax museums, the Skylon Tower, and Niagara Falls. We stayed there for two days before traveling another two hours north to Vaughan. Canada’s Wonderland is an amusement park in Vaughan, Ontario and the main reason we went. My mom and I are huge roller coaster nerds.

This park is the largest one I have been to in five years. Canada’s Wonderland is also home to a new roller coaster that was placed in the park this March, The Yukon Striker.

The Yukon holds the record for the World’s Tallest, Fastest, Steepest Dive coaster and it goes underground after the drop. Canada’s Wonderland also had a Canadian festival the week we were there. They had native Canadian music, food, and decorations in each section of the park.

Winter Mountain Guardian is also another ride at the park. This ride is a 4D virtual reality ride. You are given laser guns and are seated facing screens. The roller coaster moves through the track until the end, where it drops 30ft at the freefall.

I really enjoyed all 18 roller coasters and 3 stunt shows. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat. I have been to Six Flags, Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens, and Cedar Point, but this park definitely beats them all. I would definitely recommend any amusement park to someone looking for thrills.
