The Lehighton High School’s winter choral concert was held on Friday, December 19th. The concert featured many songs. Slow, calm songs were offered for listening such as “On a Snowy Evening”and “Blow, Blow the Winter Wind”. The chorus also offered fast paced songs such as a doo-wop version of “Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer”. The boys and girls split for separate songs. The girls sang “Of the Father’s Love”, and the boys sang “There is Faint Music”. The show choir and the chorus both featured songs from Disney’s film Frozen. The “Oh, Holy Night” solo was performed by Noah Williams. Varsity voices performed “I Love the Winter Weather”. Also, there was a special appearance: Olaf from Frozen! The night’s festivities did not end there, the excitement continued with it snowing indoors during the show choir and choral performances of the concert. After the concert, children of all ages lined up to take their picture with Olaf. The night was definitely magical!
