As you know, final exams are coming up! Here are a few tips to help get your study process

going.

1. Find a place where it is quiet, comfortable, organized, and distraction free. Decorate in

whatever way makes you feel inspired or motivated.

2. Find a time during the day that is best for studying whether it’s the morning or night.

3. If you have a test that is a few days away, study a section each night.

4. Set up a to-do-list of what you need to get done and set a time limit for each thing.

5. Try to figure out what way you learn best whether it’s reading/visual, listening, or hands-on so

that you can study in the most efficient way.

6. After studying, quiz yourself to see if you retained the information.

7. Make sure you are taking breaks between studying. Study for 25 minutes and then take a 5

minute break.

8. Practice on old exams or practice worksheets.

9. Try explaining everything you learned to someone else without looking back at your notes.

10. Create a study group with friends or classmates.

11. Eat nutritious foods that have been proven to aid in concentration and memory such as

yogurt, nuts, and blueberries. Drink plenty of water.
