In 2018, zodiac signs are more prominent than ever. You can walk down the street and hear a couple of Gen Z kids talking about their birth charts and saying things like ‘OH MY GOD MERCURY IS IN RETROGRADE.’ However, some people know nothing about zodiac signs. There are twelve zodiac signs, and each sign has its own pros and cons, its own specific traits, desires and attitude towards life, relationships, and other various things. The twelve zodiac signs are Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius. By analyzing the position of the sun and the moon on the Ecliptic at the moment of birth, people can figure out their own sign. A person born on October 7th would have a Libra sun sign. Astrology can give us a glimpse of a person's basic characteristics, preferences, flaws and fears. A common misconception about zodiac signs is that they define the person; this is not true at all. Zodiac signs will not tell you about gained traits people get from experience. It will only tell you the basis of their personality, and may lead you to figure out why people do what they do. For example, a Libra, who is normally extroverted and friendly, has a bad day and may act introverted as a result. This doesn’t mean that they’ll always be like that.

Astrology is more complicated than just sun signs. There are other signs as well, including moon signs and rising signs. But to get the basics of your personality, just use your sun sign, which is the sign that falls under your birthday. To get a deeper and more elaborate understanding of your personality, find out your moon, rising, and other planet signs, such as your Venus or Mars sign. To find out these signs, you’ll need your birth time and place for an accurate reading. Studying and analyzing zodiac signs can give you a deeper understanding of you and your personality.
