“A little stress is a good thing,” says Alvord, a counselor from Montana. “It can motivate students to be organized. But too much stress can backfire.” Almost forty percent of parents say their high schooler is experiencing a lot of stress from school according to a new poll conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health. Surprisingly for teens, most cases of stress are from academics rather than social issues like bullying. How do we fix this problem? Some say, simply, time management. Psychologists suggest this over any other solution. This makes the workload manageable which in return reduces stress. You can set goals for yourself, prioritize discreetly, and plan ahead. School is difficult and there is no question about that. Hopefully, doing some of these things you can manage school work. Everyone is different, so this may not help you but eventually you will find something that works for you. Never forget that school is temporary, try not to stress, just do your best!
