I have a Tempest in a ISHD. The pilot is out due to GLOC. On the Random Flight table the roll it indicates Raise nose, EZ rate. My question is should it be relative to the A/C attitude (ISHD). i.e. nose raises to ISTD??
Nope. Nose rising is a more rare occurrence than nose dipping (gravity wins over random stick movement), so the direction is irrelative to the upright/inverted status.

The key word is "raise". This is in relation to the horizon, not attitude.
So, the Random Flight result becomes "EZPush x1 -> INV". The nose is now even with the horizon (inv), instead of below (ishd).
